Summary
By using Magerie you agree to these terms. Short version: don't abuse the service or reverse the binary. Your work is yours. Our software is ours. The software is as-is.
License
Magerie Draft is free to download and use, with no purchase and no account required. Magerie is a one-time purchase. Either way your license grants personal and commercial use. Non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable for cause.
Your content
You own everything you create. We claim no license to your documents, brushes, or artwork.
Acceptable use
- No illegal, abusive, or non-consensual impersonation content.
- No disrupting or scraping the service.
- No reverse-engineering, redistributing, or repackaging the binary.
Purchases
Magerie is a one-time purchase, $35 during Early Access and $70 after it ends. One license covers both macOS and Windows. There is no subscription.
Magerie is not currently sold on this site. It is coming to Steam, and a purchase made there is governed by Steam's terms and refund policy, not this page.
For a license bought directly from us: full refund within 30 days, self-serve from your account page after signing in. After that, refunds follow applicable consumer protection law.
Service availability
Downloads, sign-in, and auto-update depend on cloud services and may go down. The app itself runs offline. No uptime guarantee.
Disclaimer & liability
Magerie and Magerie Draft are provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Liability for any claim is capped at fees paid in the prior 12 months.
Changes
Material changes posted here. Continued use after the effective date counts as acceptance.
