Heal, clone, and spot-remove by hand. Upscale, cut out, and fill with on-device AI.

Fix a photo or a painting without leaving the canvas. Three retouch brushes, and three AI nodes that run entirely on your machine.

Retouch tools#

Grouped under Retouch in the toolbar. All three use the current brush size ([ and ]).

Tool Key How
Healing Brush H Alt/Option-click a clean spot, then paint over the blemish. The patch takes on the surrounding tone.
Spot Removal J Click a blemish. The clean source is picked for you.
Clone Stamp K Alt/Option-click a source, then paint an exact copy.

Seamless heal in the left rail re-blends the patch edges when you lift, for heals that cross a tone boundary. Slower, and the live preview shows the fast version.

On-device AI#

Three nodes under Filters. No cloud, no account, no credits. Each model downloads once from Settings > Addons and then runs offline.

Remove Background Cuts the subject out, transparent everywhere else. 88 MB / 176 MB
Content-Aware Fill Fills a masked area with plausible surroundings. 103 MB / 210 MB

Wire an image in and press the node's button. Nothing runs until you do, so upstream edits stay instant. Change the input and the node goes back to passing the image through until you press again.

Content-Aware Fill takes a second Mask input: white is the area to fill. Or skip the node: lasso the spot, right-click, Content-Aware Fill. One undo step. Same item on a layer's right-click menu. Both appear once the model is installed.
